In 2017 we were awarded the installation of all Granada Metro’s lifts and escalators. The infrastructure connects the main places of interest located in the metropolitan area (the capital and the towns of Albolote, Maracena and Armilla) via a 16km-route with 26 stops.
This route covers key points of particular interest to citizens: the Virgen de las Nieves, San Cecilio and Parque Tecnológico University hospitals; the different faculties of Granada University; the Nuevo Estadio Los Cármenes and Palacio Municipal de Deportes sports centres; and the Technological Park.
The works carried out in Granada Metro involved redeveloping the streets and avenues affected by the route. As a result, the metro contributed to the urban transformation of the cities it runs through.
